Miles

Miles (previously Speck) was two years old when his owner in Montana asked for our help finding a new home for him. Since they didn’t have an appropriate fenced area for him, Miles got into trouble roaming the neighborhood and his life was in danger from angry neighbors.

Thankfully, Michael was only an hour’s drive away, and had been looking for another dog after a breakup that left him without companionship. Miles was a little scared and spooky about new things, but he warmed up to Michael very quickly. Michael took him as a foster at first, but they quickly bonded and Michael says they are now great buddies. They hike together all the time and he can’t imagine life without his best fur friend. He renamed him Miles because, Michael says, they put miles on together.
