Dixie

Dixie came to JCLDR with her daughter, Precious, under sad circumstances when their owner passed away suddenly. Both dogs were still grieving the loss of their family but were sweet, loving, loyal dogs deserving of new forever homes. Dixie was the less confident of the two, but was an emotional support dog for her owner until he passed away. So when Elizabeth came to us wanting to adopt Dixie to be her emotional support dog, it seemed a perfect fit.

Dixie now helps her new friend through the stresses and emotional challenges of college life. In return, Elizabeth makes sure Dixie gets lots of love and beach adventures!
